Hi, I’m Kunal Naik, the designer and founder of The Decksmith.

 

My journey into design began at the crossroads of engineering, business, and storytelling.

 

I started out as a Mechanical Engineer, trained to build systems with precision and logic. My early career took me through the world of tech support—including a role at Adobe Acrobat, where I got hands-on experience with tools that power digital communication across the globe. That’s where I truly understood the importance of clear, impactful content—and how design can make or break a message.

 

Later, during my MBA in Business Analytics at IIM Amritsar, I worked on startup projects, pitch competitions, and consulting assignments. I saw brilliant ideas get overlooked simply because they weren’t communicated well. So I began designing decks and campaign visuals for friends, NGOs, and founders—using experience, storytelling, and a sharp design eye.

 

That passion turned into a studio: The Decksmith.
